Meet Alina đđź
If youâve had a scan with us in the last six months, youâve probably already had the pleasure of meeting Alina!
Alina joined the RBS team earlier this year and has quickly become such an important part of what we do. Sheâs the friendly face youâll often see running your DEXA scan, chatting through your results, and helping you feel at ease during your appointment.
I thought it would be nice for everyone to get to know her a little better – so I asked Alina a few questions!

What did you study at University?
I completed a Bachelor of Exercise and Sport Science at the University of Newcastle in 2023, and Iâm currently studying a Master of Clinical Exercise Physiology at the University of Technology Sydney.
Do you exercise yourself? If so, what do you do?
Absolutely! Health and fitness have always been a big part of my life. I love resistance training at the gym and spending time outdoors bushwalking or being active in any way I can.
Why did you choose this field?
Studying has deepened my appreciation for how powerful exercise can be in improving both physical and mental health. Iâm passionate about helping others experience these benefits and empowering people to find forms of movement they truly enjoy.
What do you enjoy most about working with DEXA scans?
I love helping people understand their bodies better. Body composition is about so much more than just the number on the scale – itâs an incredible tool for tracking progress and supporting health goals in a meaningful way.
What are 3 fun facts about yourself?
âď¸ My favourite place to spend the day is the beach
đŤđŽ I was born in Finland and can speak Swedish
âď¸ I love travelling and even completed one of my university electives overseas in Paris!
